HM‑D Capital operates in the world of business acquisitions, and long‑term value creation. But the real impact of that work is felt in local communities: in homes, workplaces, and the spaces where young people grow up.
Our sponsorship of the SAS U13 Boys Football Team in Barnstaple for the 2025/26 season, and our support of their tree‑planting initiative in Rock Park, are deliberate choices. They reflect three principles that guide how we operate:
Invest in people early.
Backing youth football eases the financial burden on families and gives young players a sense of pride and belonging. That confidence compounds over time.
Look after the places that matter.
Rock Park is a focal point for the town. Supporting tree‑planting there is a practical way to improve a shared asset that benefits everyone.
Think in decades, not seasons.
Whether it is a business acquisition or a row of newly planted trees, the real results show up over years. Our role is to put in the work now so others can benefit later.
By supporting SAS U13 and the Rock Park project, we are aligning our community involvement with the same long‑term, stewardship‑focused mindset we apply to our investments. It is one more way we aim to build security, stability, and opportunity for the people and places we serve.
